Cultural bias in customer service occurs when businesses or service providers treat customers differently based on their cultural background. Customers may feel disrespected or misunderstood if they are not treated in a way that is culturally appropriate. This can lead to frustration, anger, and even resentment with customers that ultimately affects customer service as a whole, with decreased satisfaction and even discrimination.
